The Temazcal is known by the Mayans as “House of the Cure”. This traditional purification ritual consists of adding medicinal herbs to a burning fire of wood and volcanic stones to produce steam that helps flush out the toxins. A Shaman will guide you through this ancient Mayan ritual that will cleanse your mind, body and soul. This therapeutic treatment was traditionally used when preparing for special ceremonies.
