| Located on the beautiful stretch of coastline in the northwest coast of the island, The Grand Mauritian marks The Luxury Collection’s first foray into the Indian Ocean.
The resort consists of 193 rooms and suites, built with traditional hardwood timber called Balau, whilst the incorporation of the natural volcanic lava rock, evident throughout the island and thatched roof-coverings are widely used. Other finishes such as the Bottichino marble floor tiles have been brought into the design to add a modern classic refinement and sophistication.
At Mandara Spa, the environment offers space, luxury and privacy. The exclusive Spa Villa Suite for two persons features a Rasul, outdoor bath and shower, relaxation lounge and private courtyard providing you with the ultimate Spa journey. The Spa also boasts Double and Single Spa Villas with private steam shower; of which some are designed with outdoor shower and water feature.
The Spa menu offers a range of treatments, marrying the wisdom and traditions of ancient cultures with the latest science of Elemis Spa-therapy. All treatments have been thoughtfully created to provide a sensory adventure and uplifting escape. It is concluded in the relaxation lounge with selection of refreshing beverages to enhance the wellness of each guest. Guests may choose to further enhance their treatment experience by including healthy Spa cuisine.
Complementing the Spa is a fully equipped salon offering a range of hair and nail services, and a state of the art fitness centre featuring TechnoGym equipment including Kinesis, as well as yoga, group exercise and personal training.
